The ad of F50 adizero’s marketing purpose is to sell the product to football players and people who enjoy playing football. The strategy of this ad is that they used two of the best football players in today’s world to present the product. The target audiences of the ad are the football players and people who play football for recreational sport. The ad contains evidences that emphasize positive aspect so does the evidence of playing down negative aspect.
F50 adizero’s ad's positive aspects are such like the wording used as it is directly connected to the images used, “The Lightest. The Fastest “is directly linked to the image of David Villa and Lionel Messi because every football fanatic knows that these two are among the top football players who have the speed to out run their opponents and also the facial expression shown by the two of them give us the impression that the studs are light and they can run very fast with the F50 in use. The second positive aspect of the ad is that the word “Light” is repeatedly used in the ad thus this word can catch the attention of the customer as it may stand out than any other word used in the ad. The F50 adizero ad also acquired the use of many persuasive methods such as “Transfer” because the use of 2 famous football stars give the impression that by wearing these studs you would be good like them. Next persuasive method that was used is “slogan” the ad contains a slogan saying “Impossible is nothing” thus the viewers of this ad can remember the slogan and associate it with the product. The last persuasive method that was used in the ad is “bandwagon” - The ad emphasize on “Every Team … “it gives the impression to the viewer that if they acquire the product they can be the main person in the team.
F50 adizero’s negative aspects are such like it lacks certain important information which should be mentioned like the price of the product , and by not mentioning the product they could lose an opportunity to sell their product effectively. Second negative aspect of the ad is that the ad could give fault impression to people that by wearing these studs they could be good in football like Lionel Messi and David Villa but in fact that’s not true at all. The third and the last negative aspects of the ad are that the word “Lightest” used in the product may create confusion to the viewers that in order for the product to become light uses of low quality raw material has been used in the making of this product.
The F50 adizero’s ad comprise of significant differences for positive and negative aspect that could give the viewers different judgment about the ad. In my opinion , anticipate that the customers would buy the product because by using Lionel Messi and David Villa has boost the reputation and at the same time give people the impression that the product is good by using different persuasive methods. A certain way that the ad could be improved is that they should include more information about the product differences from any other studs and also most importantly its price.
